Andy at his workbench in Spring Hill, Florida

[Portrait pending — I'll get a proper picture up here soon enough]

My name's Andy. I'm seventy years old, and I've spent most of those years with sawdust in my pockets and a pressure canner on the stove. I live in Spring Hill, Florida — a town that sits right at the edge where the Panhandle meets the coast, and where the humidity'll rust a hinge if you leave it in the rain overnight.

Back in the day, my daddy taught me to plane a board until it sang, and my mama taught me that you can't rush a jar of tomatoes — you set the pressure, you watch the steam, and you trust what the gauge tells you. Same way I look at life, really. Measure twice, cut once.

This site is where I keep my notes, my guides, and a few things worth passing on. Not fancy, but honest. Like a well-built shelf.

What I've Built Here

"We're all just caretakers of the land, really. You tend what's yours, and you pass on what you know."

Friends in This Town
